Invented and planned in the fall of 2020, we were in operation during the summer seasons of 2021 and 2022 and were able to offer a dense program of events. In the two seasons, there were a total of about 200 performances in the field of music & cabaret, with a total of more than 60,000 visitors. We were able and privileged to offer hundreds of colleagues the opportunity to perform and practice their profession during this time after all the lockdowns. In addition, we created jobs for 40 employees during the season.

Born as a pandemic project, with the outlook on the current booking situation in the industry, as well as the forecast for the coming year, we no longer see ourselves responsibly able to continue the Praterbühne project in the usual way.

The four partners Viktor Gernot, Martin Reiter, Harald Diem and Paul Kolarik, have therefore decided with regret not to continue the game operation from 2023.

With sincere thanks for the successful and beautiful cooperation in the past two years, as well as the support you have given us, we, as Praterbühne, want to say goodbye to you. We look forward to meeting again on other occasions.
