Wow - what a year! There was a lot going on here at the Luftburg - Kolarik im Prater and when we look back on the one or other highlight, we are a little bit touched but also proud. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our guests!
What has happened in 2023...
Europe's best organic restaurant
On 25th September, the following was announced at the EU ORGANIC AWARDS in Brussels: "The winner in the category Best Organic Restaurant in Europe is: The Luftburg - Kolarik im Prater! Congratulations!"
We are so proud that our efforts are bearing fruit!
Sustainable journey
We have been countinously taking steps towards sustainability since 2001, and we continue to follow this path consistently. We have started this year to use 100% ecolabel-certified green electricity from oekostrom.
In addition
Founded in 1992 by Elisabeth Kolarik and run by her son Paul and his wife Bianca since 2020: Luftburg - Kolarik im Prater is an innovative and traditional family business through and through. In recognition, we have been honoured as the "Best Family Business in Vienna" this year.
And being a family business, the well-being & fun of children is – of course – a top priority for us! We want our little guests to feel at home too. Kurier Freizeit has recommended us as the best place to eat out with children.
We've got a lot of plans ahead of us
Things will continue to be exciting in 2024. Right at the start of the year, we will be busy with refurbishment works in order to offer our guests an even better feel-good experience.
And this is just the beginning... as we have lots of colourful ideas for the new year and are looking forward to everything that is to come.
