Small traders transform parts of Vienna's Prater into a very special kind of flea market. Dolls, Matchbox cars and even electronic items have been sorted out to bring joy to other children. The Wurstelprater is transformed into a children's paradise for rummaging and browsing.
Children help children
Prater Wien GmbH donates the proceeds from the stall fees to the Sterntalerhof children's hospice. The Schweizerhaus run by the Karl Kolarik family has been supporting the event for many years and will once again double the amount raised this year in aid of the children's hospice.

At Sterntalerhof in southern Burgenland, an interdisciplinary team helps seriously ill children and their families through difficult times. The association is financed exclusively by private funds and is the only hospice for chronically and terminally ill children in Austria where the entire affected family is cared for.
