Carnival

The time for travelling entertainers*, jesters, masquerade costume enthusiasts and doughnut lovers is finally here! Even if the warm temperatures are still a long way off, colourful costumes and many colourful attractions brighten up the carnival season in the Vienna Prater! And what about us? Kinderfreunde's carnival parade

The colourful (and free) fun for children starts on Sunday, 4th February! A fun games and show programme awaits all young and old carnival enthusiasts already at the warm-up round. The parade starts at approx. 14:00 – accompanied by a Liliputbahn train. Program highlights such as activity games, a join-in concert by children's songwriter Bernhard Fibich and the drumming group Batala Austria are on the way. And... of course there are doughnuts. Simply come dressed (warm) up and join in!

Free bouncy castle jumping

For hungry carnival guests, the restaurant Luftburg - Kolarik im Prater is open from 11:00 onwards. In the adjacent Erlebniswelt, children and the young at heart can jump on the colourful bouncy castles (open only in dry weather and above-zero temperatures) - of course for free!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone who wants to warm up with joyful jumps!
