Since 2019 we are partner of Bio Austria and Green Chefs

Kolariks Luftburg has been a BIO AUSTRIA partner since March and shows how organic is conquering gastronomy. We have recently been allowed to call ourselves Green Chefs Partner, which means we stand for fairness and responsibility in gastronomy.

Out of Elisabeth Kolarik's sense of ecological responsibility, we have been setting an example for sustainability and the appreciation of resources at Kolariks Freizeitbetriebe since 2016.

Since 2016, the certified organic range at Restaurant Luftburg has grown steadily and is strictly controlled by the Austria-Bio-Garantie. Staying true to Elisabeth Kolarik's motto: "If you really want something, you can do it", in 2019 we succeeded in converting 100% of our food to organic. A further step was the Environmental Award of the City of Vienna, which we received in 2019 for the rapid conversion to 100% organic food.

With the culinary offer of our organic restaurant, from organic stelze to vegan Almgröstl to organic pizza, we convinced BIO AUSTRIA, to whose partner network we have belonged since March 2019. Our efforts to raise children's awareness of organic farming and organic food were noted particularly positively. With an organic children's menu, the culinary wishes of children are fulfilled.

BIO AUSTRIA is a driving force for the greening of agriculture and the supply of the population with healthy food. The gastronomy partnership means, among other things, a quality-assured, certified organic catering offer for our guests, support for the search for ideal suppliers and the award of the BIO AUSTRIA "Partner Logo".

Green Chefs - Fairness and responsibility in gastronomy

Many guests pursue a sustainable lifestyle and also expect this from their restaurant. So that every guest can immediately recognize which restaurant meets his or her requirements, there is the GREEN CHEFS network of restaurateurs who show: "With us you eat sustainably and fairly!"
