Culinary autumn season

When the days get shorter and the jackets thicker, then it's autumn. And when the trees in the Prater are bathed in golden light and bright colours, it gets a little quieter in the Wurstelprater and it smells of cured & crispy grilled pork knuckle from the kitchen, then it gets particularly cosy in the Luftburg.

Try our pork knuckle – the autumn will get no chance to let you feel down in the dumps.

This year, we are serving pork knuckle instead of goose - we have reinterpreted our popular classic as Martinistelze with red cabbage and potato dumplings. But there are even more autumnal delicacies on the seasonal menu: beer pork knuckle with bacon-cabbage salad, fried Serviettenknödel (bread dumplings) and beer sauce, or Waldviertel pumpkin gnocchi. The Slovakian bacon-cabbage soup warms the belly and soul beforehand and the dessert –the wonderfully creamy pumpkin spice cheesecake with cranberries – is also not to be missed. Meal time!

Products we use are not only 100% organic but also as regional and seasonal as possible. We cook freshly every day – without preservatives and flavour enhancers. Additionally, no convenience food make it into our pot. All this because we want to offer our guests the best quality and responsible enjoyment!
