The redesign is an adaptation to the Glaspalast - for an even more harmonious stay. The interior has been replaced and blends in with the look of the Glaspalast, and the flooring has also been renewed – creating an appealing transition from inside to outside. The focus was also on improving the hybrid use of the conservatory: in winter it is transformed into an indoor area, while in summer it can be used as an outdoor location.
"It is important to us to take a fresh look at the restaurant, which has grown continously since 1992, and to rethink and refurbish it. The aim is to create a feel-good experience for our guests – which should, of course, also fulfil all its tasks!"
New playground for the little ones
To make a visit to the Luftburg an experience for the whole family, an additional children's play area has been set up in the guest garden. Here you will find everything a child's heart desires: a jungle gym, a slide and even an outdoor play kitchen for young talents. Another new feature is the "Prater Train" – a small ride for children.
The Luftburg thus offers even more space and possibilities not only for families with children, but also for social gatherings and events – open all year round and every day, 365 days a year.
