Dumpling Weeks at Kolarik's Luftburg

They are round, they are fluffy and they taste sweet, sour or spicy. When summer moves into the Prater, fine dumpling specialties are once again on the menu in the Luftburg. The popular delicacies of Austrian cuisine can be enjoyed in different variations from 13 June to the end of August.

Round enjoyment from spicy to sweet

The ideal menu is best started with the beef soup with homemade Kaspress dumplings. On hot days we recommend the summery dumpling salad - refined with peppers and beetle beans. If you are a mushroom lover, then our mushroom ragout of herb mushrooms and champignons is the right choice, served with Kaspressknödel. Do you prefer something hearty? Then the traditional Austrian dish Knödel with egg will surely meet your taste.

And for those who love our desserts, we have sweet dumplings on the menu again this season: the fruity, juicy apricot dumplings made from curd dough with fine crumbs, served with apricot roast and finished with icing sugar and mint.

Best enjoyed in the Luftburg's shady guest garden with a Seidl Hacker Pschorr Bio Helles, the specially created Dirndl Spritzer or a glass of Kattus Organic with Viennese Dirndl.
